Well, in a few days from now, I’ll be on a chicken bus to Quetzaltenango and all I can think of is “how am I going to stay away from Atitlán?” Just playing around with my 2006 photos of el lago lindo makes me want to head straight to las escuelas in San Pedro instead. Right now I’m surrounded by little piles of random gear all begging to come with me. No, tight jeans, you may not jump into my bag. And just forget about it right now, Fluevog pumps, there’s no room for you either. If you feel like checking in over the next couple of days to see if I ever found my headlamp, please do, otherwise the real adventure begins on August 31st!
