I was feeling a little under the weather yesterday, literally. Torrential rain in this region all day and all night. I also have either a little cold or I´m allergic to something in my hotel. I´ll figure it out tomorrow when I pack up and head to my host family.

Anyway, despite the inclement weather, I managed to sign up for a week of classes at Celas Maya and also wade into work. I´m really excited by both. I decided to stay with a host family the first week and make sure I partake in every extracurricular activity because I probably won´t be able to once my work project really gets going. At work, I´m pretty much through all the photo archives and next week I´m going to storyboard the calendar layout in Spanish.
Today, I´ll take a break from school and work and maybe brave the Fuentes Georginas, if the weather calms down.

Wouldn´t this blogging thing have been great in 1988 when I was tramping around Europe for six months? I probably still wouldn´t have blogged from Turkey until I was back safely in Greece.

I´d pay $17! And at least the shower is hot at your house and there´s no electric current running through the faucet when I turn off the water! They were definitely some kind of onion, like the green part of a scallion more than a yellow onion.
