El Puente de los Chocoyos, I pass this every day on my way to school, home and work. Not really sure why it was built, but it sure is purdy.<\/p><\/div>\n

What a week.\u00a0 I\u00b4m at work now, finished designing a layout page to go over with Stef here and Tony in Canada.\u00a0 I\u00b4ll post it next week once we tweak it.\u00a0 And it\u00b4s so\u00a0official, I\u00b4m moving in\u00a0on Sunday, Stef gave me\u00a0the key today.\u00a0\u00a0School was pretty\u00a0productive tambi\u00e9n<\/em>.\u00a0 I am still having un poco de problemas con el\u00a0pret\u00e9rito y el imperfecto<\/em>, but I was a little better today and my homework was mostly okay.\u00a0 Miriam seems to think I\u00b4m doing great so I\u00b4m just going to take her word for it.<\/p>\n

Sadly, today was my last day with Miriam, I\u00b4ll have a new teacher next week.\u00a0 I requested someone who has some knowledge about computer programs so I can run unfamiliar commands and stuff by him\/her.\u00a0 I hope\u00a0I get someone\u00a0as\u00a0fun and competent\u00a0as Miriam.\u00a0 We had\u00a0fantastic conversations today.\u00a0 I was able to clearly describe\u00a0the plot to Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind<\/em>\u00a0AND\u00a0communicate what dej\u00e1 vu<\/em> means.\u00a0 For some reason they use\u00a0this term\u00a0to describe premonitions.\u00a0\u00a0She has already invited me\u00a0to her house to have dinner with her and her daughter next week\u00a0and wants me to teach her some English and how to make\u00a0Greek\u00a0roast chicken.\u00a0<\/div>\n
Had a delicious lunch today of spaghetti with sausages and watched a little bit of Miss Guatemala with Ilse.\u00a0 Tomorrow her cousin will be marching in a band while playing a xylophone.\u00a0 There\u00b4s a holiday next Wednesday, but the\u00a0festivities start this weekend and continue until next Sunday.\u00a0 It\u00b4s a national holiday to commemorate Guatemala’s independence from Spain in 1821 but the biggest fiesta<\/em> is in Quetzaltenango.\u00a0 We have had pretty great weather the past two days and I hope it continues.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n
I\u00b4m actually\u00a0pretty exhausted right now, so I\u00b4ll probably skip the \u00a8graduation\u00a8 party at Celas Maya tonight.\u00a0\u00a0 There may be a more suitable one for me next\u00a0Friday.\u00a0\u00a0Not really in the mood to play beer pong with a bunch of\u00a020 year olds.\u00a0 Ronaldo is going to kill me, I promised I would go tonight…oh well.<\/div>\n
